AI Assistant
An in-app assistant for Rhino-based environmental design — explain results, suggest parameters, guide the workflow.
In development, not yet available. This page describes the planned experience; details may change before release.
The ray studies produce real numbers — sun-hour counts, visible fractions, irradiance. Reading them well, and knowing what to set before you run, is its own skill. The AI Assistant is a planned in-app companion for exactly that, in context, without leaving Rhino.
Planned Capabilities
Explain results — ask what an output means in plain language, grounded in the study you just ran rather than generic advice.
Suggest parameters — reasonable starting points for date range, time resolution, grid density, and scope, given the question you're asking.
Guide the workflow — from organizing geometry into groups to picking the right study for the question at hand.
The aim is a concrete helper, not a replacement for your judgment. The analysis still runs on the verified ray engine; the assistant helps you interpret and steer it.
Where it Fits
Alongside the planned AI Image Generation service: the image service helps you see design directions, the assistant helps you reason about results.
Until it ships, each study's own page in the Services Overview covers its parameters and how to read the output.
