Labels and provenance
Every export says it is imagined, in the pixels and in a file beside it.
A generated image can look like a render of a finished design, a photo of a real site, or a hand drawing. So every image the studio exports says what it is.
The label
Press the download icon on an image. The studio saves wrengler-generated-….png with a band
across the bottom that reads:
AI-GENERATED — NOT A SIMULATION RESULT
It's part of the pixels, not metadata, so it travels into slides and reports with the image. It's on every export and can't be turned off.
The provenance file
Beside the image, wrengler-generated-….provenance.json records:
- the genre, the style and the choices, with the version of their wording;
- the prompt, exactly as the model received it;
- whether a reference was sent, and whether it was a Rhino capture or an uploaded image;
- the model and the request, through Wrengler's AI Gateway;
- caveats written by Wrengler, never by hand: that the image is not a simulation result, that no study results or documents were sent, that a reference was a visual guide and nothing checked the geometry, and what this genre's images must not be read as (a planting is not a planting plan, a facade is not a specification).
Keep what you want
Images stay on the canvas for the session. They aren't saved to your project or kept after you close the panel, so export anything you want to keep.
